We visited the National Fish Research Centre (NaFish)

The Pellets

Blend the dried Pereskia Sacharosa leaves and the commercial fish pellets into powder

Sieve the powder (blended leaves and commercial fish pellets)

Weigh the powder using a weighing scale

Mix the pereskia sacharosa powder and the commercial pellets' powder together with distilled water

Roll them into small spherical shape

Fish are getting more and more expensive recently. The fact that chemical content in fish feed may harm human’s body is disconcerting. What we aim to do in our research is to discover ways that reduce the chemical content in fish feed and increase the weight gained of the Tilapia which is popular and has good market. We asked ourselves, what we could do to try increase the productivity and weight of the fish. Somehow, we managed to stumble upon such an idea, that if we could combine the commercial fish feed together with Pereskia Sacharosa sp. , we might increase the weight of the fish, increase the percentage of survival of fish, reduce the content of chemical in fish feed  and achieve what we wanted.
